the link above is yahoo!'s coverage of the lack of turning over bush's veto on children's health bill in the house of representatives. the last line in the article had me fuming:
"...Blacks were more likely than whites to favor overriding Bush's veto."
WHO BLOODY CARES ABOUT RACE/ETHNICITY ON THIS ISSUE?!?!!! *aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!* why do people focus on race/ethnicity when it's not appropriate to the topic? is it really a huge wonder why i really dislike watching the news? =p~
i like my news race-biased, please! ...i don't think so! there are just as many crazy ethnicities than the ones that your local news focuses on during a broadcast (in cincinnati, it's black people; in houston, it's black and mexican people.). there is soooo much that goes on in a city that doesn't get reported because some big-whig is looking for ratings and not reporting things as they really are.
